Rapport Skills

We know when we are - or are not - experiencing rapport with others. But, just what is rapport?  In this module, the participants define rapport and examine ways in which it is established and maintained in business and personal relationships.

Intended for:

Business professionals who work closely with internal or external clients.  The program is focused on those who need to create an atmosphere of harmony with their clients and business partners, in order to work together more effectively.  

Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this module, participants will be able to:

  • experience rapport first hand

  • practice establishing and maintaining rapport with business partners

  • demonstrate techniques used to gain rapport — in person, on the phone and in business meetings

  • discuss how to utilize rapport to accomplish goals and to keep the door of communications open
